Varalaxmi Sarathkumar was born on 3rd March 1985 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She made her acting debut with 2012 Tamil film Podaa Podi co-starring Silambarasan, Shobana and N. Santhanam. Her debut film was a huge blockbuster hit and earned Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress.
