1. Santosham – 2002
Santosham was directed by Dasharath and co-starred Nagarjuna Akkineni, Prabhu Deva, Shriya Saran, Brahmanandam and Sunil. Film was a super hit at box office and was remade in Bengali as Bondhon and in Kannada as Ugadi. Film tells the story of young architect who falls in love with a girl in Ooty, the girl initially hesitates but accepts his love later. When girl’s father comes to know about her love he disowns her and no longer considers her a daughter. Girl’s cousin is happy with her love and encourages her. The couple get married and gave birth to a baby boy and later dies in an accident. Now widower decides to get back to his wife’s family with his son. Rest of the story is about how he wins the heart of his father in law.
2. Chennakesava Reddy – 2002
Chennakesava Reddy was directed by V.V. Vinayak and co-starred Nandamuri Balakrishna, Tabu, Chalapathi Rao and Devayani. Film tells the story of young police officer who is considered as dare devil soldier against gangsters. He falls in love with the daughter of police commissioner. Hero’s father was a great man who was considered as god among his followers but his rival successfully hatches a plan to send him to jail for a false case. After 22 years he comes out of jail and starts to take revenge against those who betrayed him, now his own son is appointed to take charge of the situation but his father was a smart and always a step ahead of his son.

Nuvve Nuvve was directed by Trivikram Srinivas and co-starred Tarun, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Chandra Mohan and Rajeev Kanakala. Film tells the story of young college boy falling in love with daughter of millionaire. Her father loves her very much and ready to do anything to make her happy. He wants her to marry a rich guy. Accidentally he comes to know that his daughter is in love with middle class guy and he give INR1 crore and asks him to forget his daughter. Hero refuses the money and insults him. Tujhe Meri Kasam was directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar and co-starred Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Raja Bherwani and Supriya Pilgaonkar. Film was made with budget of INR390 million and grossed INR532.0 million at box office. It was remake of Telugu super hit Nuvve Kavali. Film tells the story of two best friends born in same hospital and on same day. Their parents also best friends and two friends grow up together in same vicinity, they join same college, study in same class. The guy develops feeling for girl but he comes to know that she hates a friend who proposes her, he buries his feelings. Later she is engaged to another guy when the marriage is near she fears that she has to leave her best friend. She can’t bear the idea of leaving her best friend and subsequently comes to know that he is in love with her. Rest of story is about how they get together.

Tagore was directed by V.V.Vinayak and co-starred Chiranjeevi, Jyothika, Sayaji Shinde and Prakash Raj. Film was made with the budget of INR 10 crores and grossed INR35 crores, it was a blockbuster hit of the year celebrating 50-days run in 253 centres and 100-days run in 191 centres of the state. Film tells the story of a master mind who creates his own task force name “Anti-Corruption Force”. The purpose of task force is to eliminate corrupt officers systematically from the society. Police start to investigate these cases wherein only the corrupt were killed. Rest of the story is how he plays with police.

Nenunnanu was directed by V. N. Aditya and co-starred Nagarjuna Akkineni, Arti Agarwal, Anitha, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam and Sunil. Film was a blockbuster hit celebrating 50 days run in 125 centres and a 100 days run in 42 centres of the state. Film tells the story of young business man who rescues a girl from goons and takes her home for her safety. Hero comes to know that the girl is in love with minister son but minister is against their marriage. The minister’s son doubts the relationship of girl and hero, he decides to marry a rich girl. The girl slaps him and ends their relationship. She returns to her parents’ house and she realizes the greatness of hero who saved her from goons and protected her always selflessly.
