Short biography
Manoj Bajpai was born on 23rd April 1969 in Narkatiaganj, Bihar. He attended Khrist Raja High School, Bettiah, Satyawati college, Ramjas College and Barry’s Drama School. He tried to join National School of Drama but his application was rejected four times. He started his career as a teacher in Delhi. His acting career started with TV serial Swaabhimaan aired on Doordarshan. He made his Bollywood film debut with a very small role in Drohkaal in 1994 alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri and Ashish Vidyarthi. Its interesting to know that Katrina Kaif touched Manoj Bajpai’s feet as a sign of respect after premier of Rajneeti.

He is married to Shabana Raza also known as Neha Bajpai. Shabana Raza was born on 18th April 1975 in Nanded, Maharashtra. She is also an actress who made Bollywood film debut with Kareeb in 1998 alongside Bobby Deol, Amit Phalke and Moushmi Chatterji. Manoj Bajpai married Shabana Raza in April 2006 and the couple gave birth to daughter named Ava Nayla.
