Short biography
Ranveer Singh was born on 6th July 1985 to Jagjit Singh Bhavnani & Anju Bhavnani. Originally his surname was Bhavnani but Ranveer thought its better to change it to something of bollywood taste. He attended “H.R. College of Commerce and Economics”, Mumbai and Indiana University, United States. Singh always wanted to be an actor, during his school days he actively took part in plays. His first public performance was in his grandmother’s birthday party dancing to song “Chumma Chumma” from film Hum 1991. After his college days he started his career as an Assistant Director but later decided to setle in acting. He made his acting debut with Band Baaja Baaraat in 2010.
