Short biography
Karan Singh Grover was born into a Punjabi Sikh family on 23rd February 1982 in New Delhi, India. His family moved to Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia when he as a kid. He attended International Indian School Dammam. He returned to India to complete his Hotel Management degree from Dadar Catering College, Mumbai. During his college days he started to work for band called Thousand Decibels. After completion of his education he started his career as Marketing Executive in Sheraton Hotel in Oman.
He started his modeling career in 2004 and took part in Gladrags Manhunt Contest and earned most popular model award in the contest. He worked for several modeling assignments for sometime. He made his acting debut with Television serial Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi aired on MTV India in 2004. He gained popularity after appearing in Dill Mill Gayye aired on STAR One.
Apart from TV serials he also took part in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa . Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi etc. As a model he endorsed reputed brands like Rupa Frontline, Cleartrip.com and Kajaria tiles and Indian Gem & Jewellery. His film debut was with Bhram in 2008 co-starring Dino Morea, Sheetal Menon and Milind Soman. His Bollywood breakthrough was with 2015 film Alone co-starring Bipasha Basu, Neena Gupta and Zakir Hussain.
