Short biography
Actress Ragini Dwivedi was born into a Punjabi family on 24th May 1990 in Bangalore city, Karnataka state. In 2008 she was spotted by fashion guru Prasad Bidapa and encouraged her to pursue modeling career. Her first modeling experience was in Lakme Fashion Week and Sri Lanka fashion week. She took part in Femina Miss India – 2008, held in Hyderabad, she became runner-up in the beauty pageant. She later took part in Pantaloons Femina Miss India – 2009 held in Mumbai, she won Richfeel Miss Beautiful Hair title.
Ragini Dwivedi made her acting debut with Kannada film Veera Madakari in 2009 co-starring Sudeep, Tennis Krishna and Doddanna, the film was a blockbuster hit. She subsequently appeared in numerous commercial hits like Kandahar co-starring Mohanlal, Amitabh Bachchan and Ganesh Venkatraman, Kempe Gowda co-starring Sudeep, P. Ravi Shankar and Girish Karnad, Arakshaka co-starring Upendra and Sadha, Shiva co-starring Shivrajkumar and Rangayana Raghu, Janda Pai Kapiraju co-starring Nani, Siva Balaji and Amala Paul, among other films.
