Short biography
Aftab Shivdasani was born on 25th June 1978 in Mumbai, Maharashtra State. He attended St. Xavier’s High School and H. R. College of Commerce in Mumbai.
He started his career as a child artist with blockbuster hit Mr. India co-starring Anil Kapoor, Sri Devi and Amrish Puri. While studying at college he made his debut in lead role with Ram Gopal Varma’s hit Mast co-starring Urmila Matondkar and Antara Mali. He earned Zee Cine Best Male Debut Award for his performance in Mast. His second film was Kasoor co-starring Lisa Ray, Divya Dutta, Irrfan Khan, Apurva Agnihotri, Ashutosh Rana and for the first time he appeared in negative role which earned him Zee Cine Best Actor in a Negative Role Award for his performance.
