Short biography
Randeep Hooda was born on 20th Aug 1976 in Rohtak to Dr. Ranbir Hooda and Asha Hooda. During his school days he took part in school plays. He completed his basic education in India attending Motilal Nehru School of Sports and Delhi Public School, he later went to Melbourne, Australia to pursue his degree in marketing. In Australia Randeep Hooda did several odd jobs like waiting tables in restaurant, car-washing and driving taxi for two years. He moved to India and started his career in modelling and theatre. Randeep Hooda made his acting debut with Monsoon Wedding alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Lillete Dubey, Vasundhara Das and Shefali Shah in 2001. His favourite sports are polo and show jumping. Randeep Hooda broke his ankle in 2008 while riding horse in polo match in Mumbai.
