Short biography
Actor Suman was born on 28th August 1959 in Mangalore city, Karnataka state. His birth name is Suman Talwar. His family moved from Mangalore to Chennai when he was a kid, there he attended The Besant Theosophical High School and Pachayappas College, Chennai, he has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. He also learnt music and Sanskrit during his college days. He is also an expert in martial arts including karate and Kalari Payiut.
Suman started his acting career with Tamil film Neechal Kulam in 1977. During his three decades of film career he appeared in lead role, supporting role and as an antagonist role too. He is popular for his mythological roles like Rama, Shiva, Venkateswara etc in Telugu films. He worked for several languages films like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam movies.
