Short biography
Tulip Joshi was born on 11th September 1979 in Mumbai, Maharashtra state. In Mumbai she did her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School and subsequently joined Vivek College wherein she earned her graduation in food science and chemistry. After completion of her education she took part in Femina Miss India in 2000, though she didn’t win in the pageant she was able to grab the attention of several advertising agencies. She endorsed numerous reputed brands like Pepsi, Ponds, Siyaram, Tata Sky, BPL, Smirnoff etc.
Her film entry was by chance, she attended the marriage of Aditya Chopra and there she was offered an opportunity for an audition. Subsequently she was selected in the audition for the role of Anjali Sharma in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai in the year 2002 co-starring Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill and Bipasha Basu. She subsequently appeared in numerous commercial hits like Super co-starring Upendra, Nayantara and Sadhu Kokila, Bachchan co-starring Sudeep, Jagapati Babu, Bhavana and Parul Yadav, Jai Ho co-starring Salman Khan, Tabu, Daisy Shah and Danny Denzongpa, among other films.
