Short biography
Tina Dutta was born on 27th November 1986 Kolkata, West Bengal state. She entered television when she was just 5 years kid in 1992 through TV serial “Sister Nivedita”. Subsequently she appeared as a child artist playing the role of daughter in films like Dus Number Bari, Sagarkanya, Pita Matar Santaan etc.
She made her film debut in 2003 through Bengali movie Chokher Bali co-starring Aishwarya Rai, Prasenjit Chatterjee and Raima Sen, the film was a box office hit. Her second film was Bollywood hit Parineeta in 2005 co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Saif Ali Khan, Raima Sen and Diya Mirza, film was critical and commercial hit.
Her Television debut was in 2007 through Bengali television serial Khela where is played the role of a thug. She played the lead role “Ichcha Veer Singh Bundela” in TV serial Uttaran in 2008 and gained nationwide recognition for her performance, serial had 7 seasons and 1549 episodes. She also appeared in shows like Comedy Circus7, Koi Aane Ko Hai, Aahat etc.
