Short biography
Amy Jackson was born on 31st January 1991 in Isle of Man. She attended St. Edward’s College, during her college days she studied English Literature, Philosophy and Ethics. She started her career as a British model and won numerous pageant titles like Miss Teen Liverpool, Miss Teen Great Britain, Miss Teen World – 2009 and Miss Liverpool 2010. She developed interest in Indian film industry after watching Shilpa Shetty in reality show Big Brother. In 2009 Tamil film producer saw her photos on Miss Teen World website and invited her for an audition for Madrasapattinam.
She made her acting debut with Tamil movie Madrasapattinam in 2010 opposite Arya and Nassar, the film was a huge blockbuster hit. She subsequently appeared in commercial successful films like Prateik Babbar, Manu Rishi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Thaandavam co-starring Vikram, Jagapati Babu, Anushka Shetty and Lakshmi Rai, Yevadu co-starring Ram Charan »”>Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Shruti Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal, among other films.
