Short biography
Bhagyashree Patwardhan was born on 23rd February 1969 into a royal Marathi family in Mumbai, Maharashtra state. She started her acting career through tele-serial Kachhi Dhoop directed by Amol Palekar. She gained popularity after appearing in blockbuster hit Maine Pyaar Kiya co-starring Salman Khan, Laxmikant Berde and Alok Nath, she earned nomination for Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance.
Apart from films she also worked for several television shows like Jaan, Didi Ka Dulha, Kaagaz Ki Kasti, Laut Aao Trisha etc. She appeared in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3, JP show etc.
