Short biography
Shweta Menon was born on 23rd April 1974 into a Malayali family in Chandigarh, India. She attended Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, East Hill, Kozhikode. After completion of her education she took part in several beauty pageants and won many of them. She made her film debut with Malayalam film Anaswaram released in 1991 co-starred Mammootty, Innocent and Sukumari.
Shweta Menon subsequently appeared in numerous commercial hits like Keerthi Chakra co-starring Mohanlal, Jiiva, Gopika and Prakash Raj, Salt N’ Pepper co-starring Lal, Mythili, Asif Ali and Baburaj, Rajanna co-starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Sneha, Mukesh Rishi and Nassar, Mumbai Police co-starring Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Rahman, among other films.
