Short biography
Ahana Deol was born on 28th July 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra state. She attended Mithibai College, Mumbai. Ahana Deol started to learn dance at the very young age, she is trained under guru Rabindra Atibuddhi. She is a well trained Odissi dancer and performed on numerous stages all over the world with her mother and sister.
Apart from classical dancing she is also interested in fashion designing and film making. She wanted to learn the required skills before entering films and hence she joined film-making and editing courses from Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods institute and another film institute in New York. She entered film industry as an Assistant Director through Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish starring Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai and Aditya Roy Kapur.
