Short biography
Prachi Desai was born on 12th September 1988 in Surat, Gujarat state. She did her schooling from St Joseph Convent, Panchgani and did her higher studies at Sinhagad college, Pune. She made her acting debut through Ekta Kapoor’s television show Kasamh Se in 2006 opposite Ram Kapoor. She subsequently made her Bollywood entry in 2008 through Rock On!! co-starring Arjun Rampal, Farhan Akhtar and Shahana Goswami.
She later appeared in numerous commercial hits like Life Partner co-starring Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Genelia D’Souza and Tusshar Kapoor, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai co-starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Randeep Hooda and Kangna Ranaut, Bol Bachchan co-starring Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan and Asin, among other films.
