1. Varsham – 2004
Varsham was directed by Sobhan and co-starred Trisha, Gopichand and Prakash Raj. Film was made with budget of INR10 crore and grossed INR22 crore at box office. Varsham was a commercial hit and completed 100 days in 68 centers of state. Due to its popularity it was remade in Tamil as Mazhai released in 2005. Prabhas won Santosham Film Awards Best Young Performer award for his performance. Film tells the story of young couple who accidentally meet in rain, from the beginning whenever the couple meet it rains and the couple fall in love. But girl’s father is a drunkard and ready to give her up for money. Meanwhile antagonist falls in love with her and ready to do anything for her. 2. Chhatrapati – 2005
Chhatrapati was directed by S. S. Rajamouli and co-starred Shriya Saran, Bhanupriya, Pradeep Rawat and Kota Srinivasa Rao. Film was made with the budget of INR130 million and grossed INR300 million at box office. Chhatrapati completed 100 days in 54 centers of the state. Film was inspired from Hollywood film Scarface released 1983. Film tells the story of two brothers turning against each other. Brothers were separated at the young age but Prabhas never stopped looking for his mother. He lands in a place which was rules by goons who exploit labours for their personal gains, young angry man Prabhas kills the brother of gangster. His own brother joins the bad guys to take revenge against Prabhas.

Yogi was directed by V.V. Vinayak and co-starred Nayantara, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Pradeep Rawat and Sharada Urvashi. Film was made with budget of INR10 crore and grossed INR25 crore at box office. Yogi is a remake of Kannada blockbuster hit Jogi released in 2005. Film tells the story of innocent village guy who comes to city for earning. While saving an innocent man from bad people he accidentally kills the gangster of city and thereby becomes the new don of city. Film ends in new don performing last rights of an unclaimed dead body of women which was actually his mother’s.

Billa was directed by Meher Ramesh and co-starred Anushka Shetty, Namitha, Rahman, Krishnam Raju, Hansika Motwani and Jayasudha. Film was made with the budget of INR250 million and grossed INR300 million at box office. It was remake of Tamil Film Billa released in 2007. Film tells the story of underworld don Billa who was operating out of Malaysia. He is one among the most wanted criminals list of Interpol also. Indian police officer was assigned to bring him dead or alive. In a police chase Billa dies but Indian police officer thinks of replacing original Billa with a look alike thief. He trains him with Billa’s mannerisms and finally catches the culprits behind all crimes.

He falls in love with a girl whose brother is a criminal but having no personal feelings he arrests him. Subsequently he was given a task to arrest a notorious criminal who killed state minister.
