Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai was directed by Rakesh Roshan and co-starred Ameesha Patel, Anupam Kher and Dalip Tahil. Film was made with budget of INR180 million and grossed INR615 million at box office, it was the biggest hit of year. It was debut was both Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel. Hrithik became superstar overnight, there were millions of girls ready to marry him, daily he used to receive thousands of love letters from all over India.
