1. Vikram – 1986
Vikram was directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao and co-starred Sobhana, Satyanarayana and Kannada Prabhakar. It marked debut for Akkineni Nagarjuna and a major hit of the year. Film tells the story of young man kidnapping a girl to save his friend in prison but falling in love with her. He lets her go to her parents and he surrenders before the police before going to jail. After coming from jail antagonist kidnaps girl, father and brother as revenge. Hero come to save their family and impresses her family by saving them.
2. Majnu – 1987
Majnu was directed by Dasari Narayana Rao and co-starred Rajani, Moon Moon Sen and Satyanarayana. Due to its commercial success it was remade in Tamil as Anand released in 1987.

Collector Gari Abbai was directed by B. Gopal and co-starred Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Rajani, Sarada, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Nutan Prasad.
4. Kirai Dada – 1987
Kirai Dada was directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and co-starred Amala Akkineni, Krishnam Raju, Jaya Sudha and Khusboo. Film tells the story of unemployee who was hired to spy on local Zamindar. He goes to Zamindar and start working, here he falls in love with a girl but Zamindar falls in love with him. It was remake of Tamil blockbuster Thulladha Manamum Thullum released in 1999. Film tells the story of young singer who falls in love with a girl. But the girl only knows his voice and loves him but when they face each other she starts to hate him as he looks like a goon in several circumstances. At the same time antagonist is a demon performing a severe penance to please Lord Shiva for boon. In order to please gods he decides to marry a girl and sacrifice her. Subsequently hero falls in love with a girl who was chosen by the demon to sacrifice.

Film tells the story of couple falling in love for many lives. It is based on concepts of rebirth of pure love and depicts the life of various time periods spreading 1920s to 2013. It was the last film of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and unfortunately died while working for this film.
